Richmond Therapeutic Riding AssociationĀ is a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic riding lessons to children/youth with physical, mental, and emotional special needs.
Autism Speaks Canada (ASC) is the leading autism science organization, and thanksin part to the Walk as supported over 200 organizations with a total of $3,400,000Ā to help enhance Autism Services in Canada. Ā ASC will be holding our annual fundraiser walk Sunday, September 30th at theĀ Pacific Autism Center in Richmond, B.C. This event offers participants a free fun-filled day, with free lunch, bands and interactive booths.
RoboPlanet is a non-profit organization that has registered with BC government. Based in Richmond, British Columbia, RoboPlanet aims at building a global Robo community, in which there is no limit to imagination and every participant could share their ideas freely on robot assembling and programming.
RoboPlanet wishes that every child, who is appealed to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), could have the opportunities to discover, experience, learn, and share their interests through the robotics journey; RoboPlanet believes that every child could be an innovator and a leader.
Rabbitats is a volunteer-run organization that survives off the donations of wonderful people like you. Every cent we receive goes towards rescuing feral and abandoned rabbits: paying for veterinary care, finding good homes, and building sanctuaries.
Large numbers of abandoned domestic rabbits can be safely, securely and happily housed in indoor or outdoor ārabbitatsā built in conjunction with animal shelters, pet rescues, institutions, āgreenā businesses or on private land under the care of responsible citizens.
Cities contend with abandoned pets and their feral offspring while rural areas deal with unscrupulous breeders who routinely release their unwanted stock. The non-native domestic rabbits soon become a problem for municipalities, businesses and neighbourhoods forced to deal with environmentally destructive natural behaviour like chewing and burrowing.
Itās a tragedy for the loose bunnies as they will most likely be killed by predators, parasites, sport hunters or trappers hired for āpest controlā.
Rabbitats can help build affordable colony housing for sterilized rabbits and educate new rabbit guardians on low maintenance and sustainable care. Controlled rabbit populations can replace feral colonies.
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Chinese Help Lines provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental emotional and informational support from 10 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, by professionally trained volunteers in Mandarin and Cantonese.
