Project Oaks is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the stigma of mental illness through sharing personal stories. We currently operate in Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Vancouver. As a whole, Project Oaks seeks to reduce social isolation, increase accessibility to mental health care, and prevent suicide through stigma reduction.
We envision an active, relevant and supportive network that empowers youth across Canada to become responsible and driven leaders who are at the forefront of making a social difference.
BC & Alberta Guide Dogs breeds, raises and professionally trains Guide Dogs for individuals who are blind/visually-impaired, and Autism Support Dogs for children with moderate to profound autism aged 3-10 and their families. It takes two years and upwards of $35,000 to produce one certified dog, provided free of charge to the recipient.

Delta Farm Roots is a groundbreaking mini-school in Tsawwassen, South Delta. Students attend the school every other day for lessons in sciences, social sciences and business. With days in the classroom and afternoons in the field, our mini-school offers a unique opportunity for students to broaden their horizons and get dirty while engaging in their local community and food system. Throughout the year students visit other local food advocates whilst planning their market garden.

Special Olympics athletes find confidence, and fulfillment - on the playing field and in life. We provide our athletes with opportunities to train and compete in high quality year-round sport programs and competitions - local, provincial, national and international. The Delview Leos Club is a youth-run service organization, as a youth branch of Lions International. We work in the community through volunteer events to build leadership, new opportunities, and experience for the future.

Establish pain self management support groups, provide facilitating training for the peer leaders and use a pain self management program for our members to work on building a new normal. We have an educational web site and host live on line support group meetings.
