Canadian Museums is an organization dedicated to compiling and promoting the museums of Canada on a single website to preserve, educate and spread information about our Canadian roots, cultures and legacies to local residents, tourists and to the world on-line.

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is a mental health and social service hub delivering programs and services for boys, men, fathers and their families. Our vision focuses on three critical areas: 1. Reduce suicide among men at high-risk through intervention programs that confront the barriers that men face. 2. Empower fathers undergoing separation and divorce through legal clinics and fathering groups that strengthen the father-child relationship, while working to promote positive social attitudes toward fatherhood 3. Support men who are experiencing domestic abuse and work with other agencies to improve services for boys and men. In addition to delivering front-line programs and services to families in crisis, we undertake evidence-based research, host public education and awareness activities, and work to improve public policies to better support all Canadians.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) is a national community-driven charity. As the largest charitable funder of breast cancer research in Canada, CBCF’s vision is to create a future without breast cancer. Celebrate with us as a volunteer for the Canada 150 Parade in downtown Vancouver!  Presented by the Port of Vancouver, this year’s parade is on SUNDAY, JULY 2ND, 2017 as part of a two-day Canada 150 celebration at Canada Place. Canada Day celebrates our nation, our people, our cultures and our values. If you’re a person who loves the thrill and excitement of a great public event, and thrives in a large team environment, the Canada 150 Parade is for you! Over 200,000 spectators will be entertained by 60 festive floats, marching bands, dance troupes, and community groups while being supported by over 150 volunteers. Time commitment is approximately from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017. Note: Actual time will vary depending on assigned role.  All volunteers also need to be available for the Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, June 22nd from 6:15pm-7:30pm at the Robson Square Ice Rink (Lower Plaza, across from UBC), downtown Vancouver.
