The primary mandate of the OCD Clinic is to provide provincial specialized consultation for children and youth age 6-18 with complex Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders who have not responded to community treatment resources. In addition, the OCD clinic provides education to families, community clinicians, schools and public health agencies, which includes community education events. Furthermore, the OCD Clinic conducted research to increase our understanding of the etiology and needs of youth with OCD and related disorders, along with their families, and to also inform evidence-based practice. Research on the causation, long-term course and treatment of OCD is an integral aspect of the clinic’s activities.
The Aviation Leadership Foundation is national non-profit organization based in Vancouver that runs several on-going leadership development programs open to all individuals - both aviation and non-aviation oriented. Autism Speaks Canada (ASC) is the leading autism science organization, and thanksin part to the Walk as supported over 200 organizations with a total of $3,400,000 to help enhance Autism Services in Canada.  ASC will be holding our annual fundraiser walk Sunday, September 30th at the Pacific Autism Center in Richmond, B.C. This event offers participants a free fun-filled day, with free lunch, bands and interactive booths.

The ASAP lab conducts clinical and community-based research to estimate the frequency of anxiety and stress-related disorders in ASD with greater precision and identify risk factors. Additionally, we aim to improve clinical practices by providing guidelines and measures for determining when someone with ASD is experiencing anxiety or trauma and by effectively treating these conditions in community settings.
The Amelia Douglas Institute (ADI) celebrates and uplifts Métis culture in British Columbia through educational exhibitions, programs, and research. The Institute connects Métis people throughout the province with their culture, heritage, and Michif languages through virtual and in-person resources and initiatives and educates the public about Métis people and culture.
The ADI is a registered charitable organization that was developed by Métis Nation of British Columbia’s Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language in 2023. Ministry staff are currently overseeing the Institute's program delivery and operations until the Institute is further established and has sustainable funding to maintain operations independently.
