International China Concern (ICC), a Christian non-profit organization, was founded in 1993 by David Gotts after seeing firsthand the suffering of Chinese children with disabilities who had been abandoned and left without hope in desperate conditions.
In the beginning, ICC sent short-term teams into China to provide care in government welfare centres. Later, we established permanent locations which provide full-time family-style care for children in Changsha and Hengyang in Hunan Province.
We are a Vancouver-based non-profit volunteer organization. Our teamās official name is Love Builder Non-Profit Society, which was legally registered in BC in 2015. We are currently running an inter-generational & multicultural youth volunteer program which mainly focuses on helping seniors deal with problems such as social isolation and age-related mental illness.
Our volunteers include young people who come from many different ethnicities; North American, Chinese, Latin American, Indonesian, Malaysian, Japanese, South Korean, and Eastern European, etc., 90% of which are high school and post-secondary students. Their ages range from 7 to 30 years old.

Love Builder Non-profit Society is striving to create awareness and establish a custom of respecting and caring for seniors among the younger generation through our Love Caravan Inter-generational Program.
Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre is a multi-use facility in Burnaby, BC. Nikkei Centreās mandate is to promote a better understanding and appreciation by all Canadians of Japanese Canadian culture and heritage; and an awareness by all Canadians of the contribution of Japanese Canadians to Canadian society, through public programs, exhibits, services, publications, public use of the facilities and special events.
Our mission is to connect every youth in Metro Vancouver with the natural environment and to the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks system and surrounding communities, in a hands-on way, to provide life changing experiences.
CTS delivers on our mission by providing accessible weekend overnight camps for free to youth ages 12-18. We also promote youth leadership with our Peer Leader program, allowing youth ages 15-18 to take a central role in the operation and planning of our summer weekend overnight camps, providing them with training session from November-June. The programs goal is to:
Create region-wide opportunities for youth to challenge themselves in leadership, social responsibility and personal development;
Provide an opportunity for youth to connect with their communities through citizen action, environmental stewardship, public service and community education;
Help support and integrate youth into park and community associated activities and purposes.
Canadian Museums is an organization dedicated to compiling and promoting the museums of Canada on a single website to preserve, educate and spread information about our Canadian roots, cultures and legacies to local residents, tourists and to the world on-line.
Harvest Community church is growing and we need volunteers who are christian young adult male(s) to help teach our kids about God and help with mentorship.

RUNVANĀ® relies on a dedicated group of volunteer Board of Directors and nearly 4,000 volunteers to annually organize the First Half, BMO Vancouver Marathon, Granville Island Turkey Trot and Great Trek.
Fire & Flower is a charity that provides transformative programs to empower girls in their INCREDIBLE rite of passage into young womanhood.
Around the world and throughout history, societies recognized the rite of passage from girl to woman as a sacred and critical time, and guided girls through the process with mentorship and wisdom.Ā Today, this has been lost and there has never been a harder time to be a young person, with mass and social media producing a constant feed of harmful messages and images.
Fire & Flower isĀ reviving āa villageā of women supporting girls as they come of age. We empower self-identified girls ages 10-14 in a non-binary, LGBTQ2SIAP+ inclusive environment.
Through mentorship, community-building, and nature-connection,Ā participants build confidence and pride in womanhood, discover their personal power, and develop resilience to engage their future.

We are a non profit celebrating our 50th. Festival of India Parade and Festival at Creekside Park August 27 & 28th.
We are desperately looking for volunteers in many parts of our festival. Volunteer coordinator, position for the 2 days will be the go to and main contact for all volunteers. The coordinator will report and communicate with all department heads to determine and assigned volunteers. All volunteers will be givenĀ Free FOOD Voucher to skip the line up for lunch. We will be serving Vegan food free to all the festival goers.
This event will take place on August 27th &Ā 28th, at Creekside Park Vancouver

Good day readers, thank you for taking the time to read our post. Festival of India Feel the Bliss is celebrating our 50th. anniversary this year at CREEKSIDE PARKĀ by Science World. We are in desperate needs to find volunteers for several position during the event. Our festival feature FREE VEGETARIAN LUNCH for the public, arts, culture, music, kirtan and dance.
Part of the celebration is a procession along the Seawall from Creekside heading west to Hinge part.Ā There will be several people that will be walking together to Hinge Park. Stop at Hinge Park for a little bit then head back to Creekside Park. Our volunteers will be responsible to keep the procession only at the pedestrian lane and not go over to bike lane.
Volunteers will get a special Free Lunch pass so you don't have to line up to get your free lunch after the procession. We will also give you a $20 food Boucher you can use to purchase special food or snacks at Govinda's Dining food booth during the event. We will very much appreciate your help and contribution If interested please connect with us ASAP.
