Gymnastics BC (GymBC) is a non-profit organization that delivers competitive and recreational programs for the sport of gymnastics in British Columbia. We are responsible for the governance, promotion, and development of gymnastics in BC and are dedicated to making gymnastics an accessible sport for all.
The Jericho Stewardship Group is a registered non-profit organization comprising residents, students, naturalists and other non-profit groups, that works with the Vancouver Park Board to restore and encourage the natural habitat of Jericho Beach Park.
Our main activities include:
removal of existing non-native shrub and tree species
planting of new native trees and shrubs
maintenance of newly planted areas
We also give walks and talks in the park, do an annual release of mason bees in the spring and monitor and record some of the plant and animal species.
mugshare is a project with a goal to reduce single use waste by promoting the uses of reusable wears. The project was originally started by a group of UBC students and now managed by a team of UBC alumni on a voluntarily basis.
mugshare system is an easy-to-use alternative to disposable coffee cups that operates on a deposit-return system, allowing users to enjoy all the convenience of a coffee to-go, but without the waste.

Who we are:
The Gluten Free Expo began in a small community center gymnasium in Vancouver, BC with just two simple goals:
- To collect gluten free food donations so gluten intolerant families needing assistance will never have to choose between eating, or feeling ill. Sadly, due to the higher costs of Gluten Free food, this is a category that is not often donated and is needed by Food Banks across Canada.
- To help those living with a gluten intolerance discover new dietary solutions, connect with others in the Gluten Free community, and to provide education on living gluten free the healthy and accessible way.
Following the first Gluten Free Expo, exhibitors and attendees alike asked us to come back again, so we did, and continue to do yearly and then expanded to different cities.

JA British Columbia (JABC) is a not-for-profit impact organization that delivers free hands-on, immersive education in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship.
Reaching thousands of young people each year through partnerships with educators, volunteers, and donors, JABC is one of the few organizations with the experience and passion to build a brighter future for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
For over 65 years, JABC has served B.C. youth, including Indigenous communities, people of colour, and at-risk populations. JABC’s real-world training helps young people develop the skills to build successful careers, prepare for the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship, and learn to thrive financially. Through JA, young people are equipped with the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
JABC is a proud member of JA Canada and JA Worldwide, one of the world’s largest and most impactful NGOs.
- A. To advance the public’s appreciation of the visual and performing arts by producing art exhibitions, presentations, and performance arts events, and by proving a forum for qualified artists to exhibit, present, or perform their artistic works through participation in such events.
- B. To advance education and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the visual and performing arts by providing opportunities for workshops and seminars in the arts, as well as presentations to the community.
- C. To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the purposes of the Society.

Led by an elected volunteer Board of Directors, the Trout Lake Community Centre Association (TLCCA) has been working behind the scenes here since 1956 to ensure offerings are tailored to local need.

The Nature Trust of British Columbia is dedicated to conserving BC’s biological diversity through securement and management of ecologically significant lands.
TNTBC took on the daunting task of protecting the natural riches of the province by building a treasury of wild natural areas to conserve iconic and important species at risk.
TNTBC is now a leading non-profit land conservation organization. Since 1971 we have acquired more than 500 conservation properties in British Columbia.
The PCHC-MoM Society is a registered non-profit society reflecting a broad spectrum of communities—in particular (but not limited to) a diversity of Canadian communities of Asian heritage—who are committed to the vision of a new kind of museum that can appeal both to a diverse local and global audience. Utilizing institutional partnerships with universities (including, but not limited to, for instance, the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, the University of Calgary, and Athabasca University), our vision is for community-based stakeholders to collaborate with institutions of higher education so that the latest innovations in research, teaching, and technology can shape public education, heritage conservation, and multimedia storytelling at a state-of-the-art museum.

We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
Science World is a charitable non-profit and science centre based in Vancouver, BC that engages learners across the province in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & design and math).
Visitors to our iconic geodesic dome explore interactive, hands-on exhibits and galleries that nurture their process of discovery and inspire connection with their natural, physical and built environments. Participants in our outreach programs—students, teachers and families in every region of BC—access the experience of Science World through virtual visits from scientists, livestream science shows, and weekly afterschool STEAM mentorship.
At Science World, we inspire the next generation of problem solvers, world changers and nerds.
The Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association (VBGA), a CRA registered charity, and the City of Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation jointly operate VanDusen Botanical Garden and Bloedel Conservatory. Both organisations share responsibility for the day to day running of the Gardens in a close and long-standing relationship, since the 1970’s.
