Unique Get Together Society is a registered charity that is dedicated to empowering indigenous peoples and all marginalized communities through our support programs and activities. We see our primary responsibility to deliver services with a distinctly indigenous perspective and principles. Our Mission is to empower the Indigenous, marginalized and underserved communities, individuals and families we serve. For almost 50 years, Tonari Gumi has been building relationships and connections with the Japanese Canadian community throughout Metro Vancouver. From its early days as a group of Japanese Canadian community volunteers, Tonari Gumi has always been strongly focused on being a supportive community organization. It continues to serve the needs of its members and wider community, helping them navigate life in Vancouver with greater independence. In addition, Tonari Gumi also helps them achieve health, wellbeing and happiness.
Crossreach Project of Vancouver is a non profit Adult Day Center for seniors in the community located in Kitsilano. The mission of Crossreach is to support people to remain at home while they age by providing social services that promote the dignity and well-being of the participant and their families and/or caregivers. We are partially funded by the provincial government to provide this service. Our clients are referred to our program through the local community health unit following an assessment by a community home and health case manager.
Clients attend on average two times a week and the hours of the program are 10:00 to 3:00 Monday to Friday. While at Crossreach, clients are engaged in therapeutic activities and structured programming. We also provide a 3 course meal for lunch.
We nurture life, soil, vegetables, flowers, new growers and connectedness in the Territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ / Nations
We grow food, flowers, berries and fruit using ecological growing methods on a 1 acre urban farm and distribute it to over 1000 people every growing season. We currently operate a 1 acre urban farm, accessible community gardens and a therapeutic gardening program on Vancouver Coastal Health land in Marpole as well as therapeutic gardens for families in South Vancouver.
Volunteers are huge at Farmers on 57th! We wouldn't exist without them. Our volunteer programs are varied - if you are interested in farming, food, dietetics, community building - and interested in being outdoors in nature and working with others - please get in touch :-)
The Sustainable Entertainment Society, is a non-profit organization with the mission to accelerate sustainable development through culture, arts, and entertainment. The SES has a national mandate, an international audience, and a local approach. Green Spark Group, a world leader in sustainable production in the entertainment industry, is the Foundational Partner.

Leash of Hope was founded by Danielle Main and Tessa Schmidt in 2014.Tessa and Danielle founded the Leash of Hope organization when it became increasingly obvious that there is still a major need for support for those with disabilities who want to live their lives independently. Danielle, who is legally blind, and Tessa, who lives with spastic cerebral palsy, have experienced the independence and confidence that a service dog can give to them and have done everything they can to change the lives of others who live with disabilities such as blindness, cerebral palsy, autism, PTSD and many other conditions.
As a small organization, Leash of Hope can also meet the demand of clients with more complex needs and who might fall under multiple classifications. Prospective clients can also apply with their own dog. If the dog is deemed appropriate to become a service dog it is provided the tools needed with guidance from the program. The owner assisted training program also fills a much needed gap in the industry.
YMCA at Home is a comprehensive online platform offered by YMCA BC that provides a diverse range of virtual services and resources to support individuals in achieving their health, fitness, and wellness goals from the comfort of their homes. The platform offers a variety of virtual fitness classes, wellness programs, educational content, and community engagement initiatives. Users can access a wide array of on-demand content, live streaming sessions, and interactive features to enhance their overall well-being. The YMCA at Home website aims to bring the mission and values of the YMCA to individuals across BC, fostering a sense of community and promoting a healthy lifestyle through convenient and accessible online services.
Dear Asian Youth Vancouver is a chapter of Dear Asian Youth, a youth-led global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Asian youth around the world into intersectional activism. We promote solidarity between marginalized communities, equality and inclusivity, and strive to spread awareness about Asian cultures and diversity.

The Butterfly Run is a registered non-profit organization that provides integrated support, resources, and community for all people who have experienced unimaginable loss during the journey to
parenthood. We hope to empower families to share their stories and we provide this run as a healing space for you in your journey. As alone you might feel right now, we want you to know that we walk beside you.
It is estimated that 1 in 4 women will experience miscarriage or pregnancy loss (also known as perinatal loss) and that 1 in 6 Canadians experience infertility.
MISSION: The Butterfly Run Canada exists to offer support, compassion and community to honour the babies gone too soon and hold hope for the children to come. Together we raise awareness around infertility, pregnancy loss and infant loss by organizing community events and fundraising for local and provincial support programs.
VISION: Experiencing loss on the journey to parenthood is a path that no one should walk alone.
