The Amelia Douglas Institute (ADI) celebrates and uplifts Métis culture in British Columbia through educational exhibitions, programs, and research. The Institute connects Métis people throughout the province with their culture, heritage, and Michif languages through virtual and in-person resources and initiatives and educates the public about Métis people and culture. The ADI is a registered charitable organization that was developed by Métis Nation of British Columbia’s Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language in 2023. Ministry staff are currently overseeing the Institute's program delivery and operations until the Institute is further established and has sustainable funding to maintain operations independently. The ADI’s showroom and exhibition space opened to the public in January 2024 and is located at #300 13401 108 Ave Surrey BC. HONG KONG HOUSE CULTURAL SOCIETY or HK House, is a volunteer-led and run community organisation. Our team is made up of a diverse set of people with vastly different stories. First and second generation immigrants, recent newcomers and locals of different backgrounds work together to curate and maintain a society with strong values. Established in 2020, HK House was born out of a need for a safe gathering place for the steadily growing Hong Konger diaspora community in Vancouver. Since inception, HK House has curated regular programming, including seasonal hikes, community clean-ups, game nights, film screenings, a free mental health support series offered in English and Cantonese, as well as the Vancouver Hong Kong Fair. We offer educational resources and cultural promotion using our social media, ensuring all offerings are translated to English and Cantonese.

The Improv Centre is Vancouver’s leading and best known improv theatre company. It was originally formed in 1981 under the name The Vancouver TheatreSports League. It was founded to promote, develop, maintain and present improvisational theatre productions and presentations to local and visiting audiences in Vancouver. The Improv Centre office and 186 seat theatre are located on Vancouver’s Granville Island. Each year, over 60,000 audience members, artists and students enjoy our theatre’s productions.

The Dance Centre is the leading resource centre for dance in British Columbia, supporting the development of the art of dance through a range of activities that is unparalleled in Canada. We provide resources and programs for dance professionals; present public performances and events; bring dance to the community through outreach programs; operate Scotiabank Dance Centre, our creative hub in downtown Vancouver; and promote BC dance. The United Scottish Cultural Society is a registered BC non-profit organization with representation from various Scottish organizations located in the Metro Vancouver area.
