InspireHealth is a not-for-profit Health care organization, founded in 1997 by two medical doctors focused. InspireHealth provides supportive cancer care for individuals living with cancer and their families. All of our services are completely free and are accessible to all Canadians affected across the country (both patients and their supports). This includes on-going consultations with exercise therapists, nutritionists, medical doctors and clinical counsellors. As well as an abundance of classes, including yoga, meditation, acupuncture, cooking, art therapy, support groups and more!
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities in hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living, rehabilitation and palliative care. As a volunteer, you are an invaluable resource to enhance the quality of care that we provide for patients and residents at all of our sites.

Building on a strong tradition of caring and community support, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF) was established in 1978 to raise funds for the hospital’s first CT Scanner. Since then, the mission of RCHF has been to raise money to help the hospital save lives, restore health and provide comfort to seriously injured and ill patients of all ages.
Today, RCHF is an independent charitable organization that raises millions of dollars each year to fund major projects, priority equipment needs, facility enhancements, research, education and innovation at RCH.
Thousands of individuals, businesses, community groups and foundations in surrounding communities and across the region provide generous support to help RCHF achieve its vision — to inspire giving and grow funding so patients have access to the best in health care at Royal Columbian Hospital.

Through Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada, a new health services organization operated by CNIB, we provide personalized rehabilitation services designed to enhance independence, safety and mobility after a loss of sight. Meanwhile, CNIB’s other community-based services empower Canadians who are blind or partially sighted to lead rich, full lives, and move us toward a more inclusive world.

To empower, educate and support British Columbians living with epilepsy and their families, and support research to make their lives easier.
Our History
The BC Epilepsy Society was incorporated as a registered charity on August 17, 1959, under the leadership of pediatric neurologist Dr. Norman Auckland.
Dr. Auckland believed that an increased understanding of epilepsy, among those living with the disorder and their families, could help those living with epilepsy to help themselves.
The Society's programs and services today remain true to Dr. Auckland's original vision of support and education.

Providence Health Care (PHC) is the largest Catholic-operated health care organization in Canada and provides health care services to all ages across the full continuum of care. Providence Health Care is comprised of eight health care providers which include: Holy Family Hospital, Mount Saint Joseph Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital, St. Vincent's Brock Fahrni and Langara, Youville Residence, St. John’s Hospice, Honoria Conway.
St. Paul’s Hospital is an acute care, teaching and research hospital located in downtown Vancouver. It is home to many world-class medical and surgical programs, including heart and lung services, HIV/AIDS, mental health, emergency, critical care, kidney care, elder care and numerous surgical specialties.
We do intravenous dental sedation training in the field of dentistry. We seek volunteerpatients who can have all dentistry done free under IV sedation.
