Make your experience count.Do you speak French and have 50+ years of life and professional experience with a genuine desire to give back?Carrefour 50+ CB is looking for volunteer mentors aged 50 and over to support francophone job seekers under 50 as they navigate today’s changing labour market.This is an opportunity to turn your experience into practical support — while building meaningful connections across generations and contributing to the vitality of the francophone community in British Columbia.What will you do?As a volunteer mentor, you will participate in online weekly sessions alongside a member of the Carrefour 50+ employment team and other experienced mentors.Depending on your interests and experience, you may:Share practical advice based on your professional experienceHelp job seekers clarify their career goals and job-search strategiesReview and strengthen rĂ©sumĂ©s and cover lettersShare insights about today’s workplace and recruitment practicesHelp participants prepare for job interviews through realistic simulationsProvide constructive, encouraging feedbackShare useful professional connections or resources when appropriateYou don't need to have all the answers. Your experience, perspective and ability to listen are what make the difference.Two ways to contributeđŸ€ Group Mentoring SessionsSupport two job seekers alongside other experienced mentors.
