The Mount Pleasant Community Centre Association operates two licensed child care centres that provide quality and affordable care to families with diverse backgrounds. The Volunteer Child Care Assistant role is to support staff in implementing activities and care routines for children up to the age of twelve years old in group settings. Activities include singing, reading stories, art, playing games, field trips, supporting children’s care routines and light housekeeping duties. Schedule Weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, days and shift hours are flexible. Required Skills Minimum three months commitment Patience and a love of children is essential Must have a warm, nurturing and respectful nature.
