ENGAGEMENT SPECIALISTS

 

We are an Indigenous non-profit organization providing services and programs for our community to acknowledge our past, present and future generations. Through our various events and programs, we provide support services for Indigenous children, youth, individuals and families. 

FRIS continues to grow and we have a lot of incredible work to celebrate. We are looking for a few volunteer social media engagement specialists to help increase our social media presence across various platforms. Join our amazing team and together, we can help make a difference in the community! 

 

We’re looking to increase our following while ensuring that we’re reaching our target audience, building relationships with other like-minded organizations, and engaging our followers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Promote our content through Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, monitor engagement, respond to comments
• Attract and interact with relevant virtual communities and network users
• Joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand (on social media)
• Carry out a results-driven social media strategy
• Work together with our team on various campaigns and new ideas
• Report on social media performance on a regular basis
• Join our weekly virtual or team meetings (optional, but recommended)

 

There is a lot of room to grow and advance within our organization, and we are open to working with new volunteers who are looking for experience.

Part-time hours: max 4 hours per week, flexible time
