Position Overview:
As a Volunteer Fundraiser with The Children’s Foundation, your role will be pivotal in securing essential funds to advance our mission. We are seeking individuals who possess a deep passion for our cause, relish the opportunity to connect with new individuals, and thrive on actively participating in events to champion our organization. This presents an exceptional chance to make a significant contribution to a noble cause while acquiring valuable fundraising and networking expertise. Your involvement will encompass various events and fairs where you will passionately advocate for our cause and engage in face-to-face fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with potential donors, sponsors, and partners at events, meetings, and social gatherings.
Promote The Children’s Foundation and its programs to individuals and organizations.
Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop creative strategies to raise funds.
Attend team meetings (MS Teams and in-person) and training sessions to enhance fundraising skills.
Participate at booths to increase awareness about ongoing campaigns.
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm and passion for The Children’s Foundation’s mission.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Willingness to attend events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Previous fundraising experience is a plus but not required.
