Love Builder is a BC registered non-profit organization founded in 2015. We comprise of young people from high school and university who hosts inter generational programming/music throughout the lower mainland. Our mission is to inspire the younger generation to care and respect for the older generation as one day we will be the next generation problem.
Love Builder will be hosting our 48th love caravan inter generational programming at Rideau Retirement Residence, 1850 Rosser Ave, Burnaby, BC which is right next to Brentwood Skytrain Station. Our volunteers are an integral part to our inter generational programming and instrumental in the success of the program. Your main duties will revolve around:
Love Builder Non-profit Society is striving to create awareness and establish a custom of respecting and caring for seniors amongst the younger generation through our Love Caravan Intergenerational Program. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and all enjoy the warm, friendly and professional working environment. This year, 2019, we are going to launch a bigger project named “Love Builder Charity Show”, we sincerely welcome youth talents to join us for building a better community. As a Volunteer, you will be instrumental in the success of the program. Your main duties will revolve around
Assisting with the event making sure everything runs smoothly
Interact with seniors through talking, playing games
Providing compassion and friendship
In turn for continuous excellent volunteering service, Love Caravan will offer you the possibility of
Meet people around your age who share similar interests and hobbies
Reference letter
Gift cards, honorary compensation, scholarship
Potential paid positions working with a Non-Profit organization to help build your resumes and application
