Opportunity Description:

Want to be a part of a community? The African Friendship Society is looking for several volunteers to assist us during the Vancouver International Children’s Festival May 31- June 5th 2022.
Our pavilion/tent is interactive so students and children can feel free to play with some of the African instruments and African games. An African Friendship Society artist and staff will be present as well.

Your Role:

To assist in any light set-up and takedown (be able to lift 50lbs)
A fun and positive attitude
Willing to volunteer rain or shine
Comfortable working around kids
Able to stand for long periods of time

You are not required to know all about African history. In fact, this may be the perfect opportunity for you to immerse yourself.
