Opportunity Description:

Rabbitats is a rabbit rescue trying to help all the abandoned bunnies, especially in Richmond. We are building a sanctuary and need all the help we can get. We can have work parties almost every weekend, and need help on weekdays, including after work hours.

Immediate roles we need:

Morning volunteers – cleaning

Recycling coordinator – schedule or carry out regular (i.e. weekly) trips to recycle bunny waste and do bottle returns

General cleaning/organizers – maintain the building

Bunny care volunteers – cleaning, feeding, grooming, etc.

Construction coordinators – schedule volunteers and help to build sanctuary

Sanctuary builders – help construct our sanctuary

The shelter is open 7 days a week and after work hours. We’re well set up for company team building projects, school groups, etc.
