Portobello West is looking for eager volunteers for their annual Spring Market on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th, 2024. The  market this year will feature over 65 local BC vendors with activities and enticing products for everyone!

Portobello West is in search of candidates with enthusiasm, dedicated to our local art and design community. If you are passionate about both people and creativity, we invite you to become part of our volunteer team!

As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for both vendors and visitors. Your involvement will help support local businesses while fostering a sense of togetherness within the community. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to the overall well-being of your neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Assistance with Setup and Takedown: Set up and take down Portobello West marketing materials.
Customer Interaction: Engage with market visitors in a friendly manner, redirecting them to staff if they have any questions.
Vendor Support: Help vendors with their needs throughout the day, giving them breaks, and answering questions.
Crowd Management: Help manage the flow of foot traffic to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
