Opportunity Description:

Are you passionate about nature and conservation? Do you have a flair for finance and numbers? Nature Vancouver, a registered charity dedicated to protecting and appreciating our natural world, is seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join our committed team.

Our current Treasurer is available to work with the successful candidate to gradually transition into the role in the next 6-12 months, if needed.

As our Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our financial health, ensuring responsible management of funds, and contributing to our mission of nature education and conservation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with financial expertise to make a significant impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the organization’s financial affairs
• Preparing and presenting financial reports at board meetings
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for charitable organizations
• Collaborating with other board members to further our organization goals
