Opportunity Description:

A Treasurer is needed in the Executive Committee of the VWMS. The ideal volunteer would: love music, want to support young musicians, have previous treasurer/accounting/book keeping experience and have an understanding of not-for-profit societies.

The Treasurer will be supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, and by the outgoing Treasurer who served in that position for more than a decade. The job entails preparing financial reports for monthly meetings (over Zoom), preparing for Annual General Meetings held in June and approximately 5-6 hours of work per month.
