Opportunity Description:

Reporting to Project Coordinator. The Street Promotion Lead will be responsible for attending to parties and events around Vancouver in order to spread the news about Carnaval del Sol.

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The role of event organiser varies depending on the organisation and type of event involved. Activities often include:

• Researching markets to identify opportunities for events
• Planning room layouts and the entertainment programme, scheduling workshops and demonstrations
• Display and deliver promotional material
• Liaising with marketing, PR, and Social Media colleagues to promote the event
• Overseeing the dismantling and removal of the event and clearing the venue efficiently
• Networking with health professionals to join the association
• Outreach with local community groups
• Booking locations for fundraisers coordinating events ✓ Managing volunteers marketing & promotion – pursue sponsorships maintaining association morals and vision

• Availability to attend events in Metro Vancouver
• Be able to develop cross promotional strategies through onsite and online activities
