Latincouver (Logistics Coordinator)

• Appropriate for youth (i.e., less than 18)
• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring appropriate protocols are incorporated into the festival. This individual must have the ability to engage with customers, work in a team environment and must be able to work well under pressure.

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor operations
• Ensure Carnaval premises, assets, and communication strategies are used effectively
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff, and supervise
• Assist with customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations
• Additional tasks as required

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment and develop relationships
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, resolve disputes, and exercise sound judgment
• Self-motivated and works well and diligently with little supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
