Opportunity Description:

Carousel Theatre is back for our 24/25 season and we need volunteers for our next show!

We are looking for volunteer ushers to help out with patron and school group management during our shows. If you are interested in working in the arts, this is a great way to meet like-minded artists and make great connections! Must be 16 and over to apply.

Our season opens with “The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe” which runs from December 4th -15th.

Ushers will help out with patron and school group management during our shows. This includes:

• Answering questions and providing friendly customer service to patrons.
• Assisting individuals to and from their seats.
• Taking tickets at the door.
• Assisting with the management of school groups on weekday matinees as needed. – Ensuring patrons get in and out of the venue safely.
• Monitoring the audience during the show to ensure safety and that theatre rules are being followed.
• Maintaining the line-ups prior to, and during loading the venue.

Volunteer Perks:

• For any show in our season that you volunteer for, you are entitled to 2 free tickets for any performance in that run.
• An opening night invite to Carousel Theatre produced shows.
• An invite to volunteer appreciation events.
• A letter confirming hours volunteered is available upon request.
