InspireHealth Supportive Cancer Care Centre is a non-profit with centres in Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna BC. We provide free programs and services for anyone with a cancer diagnosis and their support friends and family. Our Clinical Services are provided by a team of physicians, nutritionists, clinical counsellors and exercise therapists. We have experience providing guidance on healthful diet changes, stress reduction and emotional counseling, decision making, exercise, and personal coaching.

*** REC THERAPY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED *** George Pearson Centre is a residential, long term care facility for adults with disabilities. Adults of all ages live at George Pearson and require care for many different reasons. Many residents have extensive physical disabilities including persons with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and other neurological disabilities. VOLUNTEER ROLES: We have several different volunteer roles at this location including: 1 to 1 Visiting, Recreation, Community Outings, Cards & Games, Artworks. Volunteers get the opportunity to work 1 on 1 with the residents while assisting staff with the activities and therapeutic programs. It's a great way to help others and gain more experience in a residential setting.
