The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems (CSFS), located at UBC Farm, is a unique research centre that aims to understand and fundamentally transform local and global food systems towards a more sustainable, food-secure future. The centre is a living laboratory, committed to finding solutions to both the local and global challenges facing food systems sustainability and translating solutions to improve personal, community, and environmental health.

VOKRA began in 2000 and is a Vancouver based cat rescue. We are a volunteer driven registered non-profit.

We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no-kill is the only responsible approach, that TNR works, and that cats are awesome!

The Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association (VBGA) is a charitable not-for-profit, incorporated under the BC Societies Act.

The Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association (VBGA), a CRA registered charity, and the City of Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation jointly operate VanDusen Botanical Garden and Bloedel Conservatory. Both organisations share responsibility for the day to day running of the Gardens in a close and long-standing relationship, since the 1970’s.

VanDusen Botanical Garden is a 55-acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver with over 7,500 plant species and varieties from around the world! By engaging the community and educating people in the importance of biodiversity we aim to <span style="font-size: 1rem">foster a lifelong love of plants and gardens. </span>

Wildcoast Ecological Society is a not-for-profit group whose aim is to conduct research, environmental restoration and stewardship activities for degraded ecosystems on the south coast of British Columbia. We strive to fulfill this aim by developing and implementing local restoration projects, involving community members in restoration activities, and by supporting community stewardship projects that protect local ecologically sensitive species and the critical habitats in which they live.
