Who We Are

For 50 years, Capilano Community Services Society (CCSS) has connected residents of the North Shore to their communities by providing support services, resources, and outreach programs that address the current and emerging needs of frail and isolated seniors, at-risk youth, and other vulnerable populations. CCSS also operates the Red Cross health equipment loan program and provides administrative support to four other on-site non-profit organizations.

What We Do

Our programming is designed to support and enhance social connections, active living, opportunities for learning, healthy aging, well-being, and resiliency, all with equity, diversity, and inclusion lens. Through this programming, our goals are to reduce vulnerability and foster vibrant, inclusive, caring communities where residents feel a sense of belonging and can thrive. Collaborating with other community organizations, our programming builds capacity across the North Shore.
