Coast Mental Health Foundation

Coast Mental Health has been helping people recover from mental illness since 1972. We operate 54 locations throughout Greater Vancouver and provide services to over 5,000 individuals annually. Coast Mental Health’s care is based on three pillars:

- Housing: We take a “housing first” approach. Coast Mental Health connects people living with chronic mental illness or addictions with secure housing as an essential part of their recovery. Today, we provide a continuum of residential care services to almost 1,500 people at 54 sites throughout the lower mainland.

- Support services: Through our support services, we help clients build on their strengths, access existing government and community resources, manage their health, and live richer lives.

- Employment/education: Our employment and educational programs boost self-confidence, add meaning to client’s lives, and improve financial independence.
