Welcome to Pacific Canada Heritage Centre – Museum of Migration (PCHC-MoM)
PCHC-MoM is a dynamic non-profit society dedicated to the exploration and celebration of trans-Pacific immigration and intercultural relations. Since our inception in 2011 and our registration as a charity in 2023, our mission has been to establish a museum that serves as a hub for public exhibitions, educational programs, workshops, and events.
As a museum “without walls,” we are committed to offering both in-person and virtual experiences across various community and online platforms. Our aim is to curate and share the rich tapestry of migration histories to foster a sense of belonging and understanding in Pacific Canada, all while recognizing and respecting our role as guests on unceded Indigenous lands.
Our Core Values:
- Belonging: Creating spaces where everyone feels valued and connected.
- Collaboration: Working together to enrich our community and programs.
- Education: Providing learning opportunities to broaden perspectives.
- Empowerment: Enabling individuals and communities to voice their stories.
- Inclusivity: Embracing diverse experiences and backgrounds.
- Responsibility: Honoring our commitments and ethical practices.
Discover more about our mission and upcoming programs on our website: PCHC-MoM. Join us in our journey to explore and celebrate the diverse narratives that shape our shared heritage.
