Are you ready for TAIWANfest?
Summer approaches, with TAIWANfest just around the corner. If you’re interested in arts, culture, history, and storytelling, join our wonderful team of volunteers today!
TAIWANfest is an annual event celebrating arts and culture that has grown to become one of the largest bilingual festivals in Canada. Through a variety of programming, we invite the community to explore cultural connections between Taiwan, Canada, and the world.
2026 TAIWANfest is in Dialogue with Scotland: Island in the Wind.
We are looking for volunteers passionate about sharing culture and learning new things.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Festival Floaters
- Volunteer Coordinator / Festival Ambassador
- Programs Emcee
- Stage Manager
- English-Chinese Interpreters
- Photographer

Asian-Canadian Special Events Association is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization that creates sustainable projects in the areas of arts and culture, and works with partners across British Columbia, Canada, and internationally. Our signature events are spread throughout the year: the end of winter LunarFest, end summer TAIWANfest and IPACI, and a brand new event in partnership with Canadian Heritage and Canada 150 We Are Canadians, Too!
