Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media & Event Promotion Assistant

Help Bring Pott & Nott to the Vancouver Persian Community!

Are you familiar with social media and enjoy helping arts and cultural events reach a wider audience? We’re looking for a Volunteer Social Media & Event Promotion Assistant to help promote our upcoming staged reading, Pott & Nott, in Vancouver.

About the Event

Pott & Nott is a comedy staged reading adapted from John Maddison Morton’s classic play Box and Cox, re-imagined for a new audience.

Your Responsibilities

• Share event announcements on relevant social media pages and community groups.
• Submit the event to free online event calendars and local event-listing websites.
• Help spread the word through arts, theatre, and Persian-speaking communities.
• Suggest creative ways to reach potential audience members.

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone comfortable using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram & event listings.
• A self-motivated, organized person with good communication skills.
• An interest in theatre, arts, or community events is an asset.
• Persian language skills are welcome but not required.

• Event: Pott & Nott — Staged Reading for Persian Speakers
• Event Date: Saturday, November 28
• Location: Vancouver, BC
• Position: Volunteer
• Time Commitment: Flexible, with tasks completed remotely at a mutually agreed schedule.
