Our volunteer Board of Directors is looking for it’s next Board Treasurer!

Since 1993, Victoria Community Resources Society (VCRS) has provided residential and community support for adults with diverse abilities living in the capital region. We believe all people, with or without disabilities, share the human experience together and that every human being is entitled to live a good life within his or her home. The VCRS board is looking for people who would like to make a positive contribution to the lives and communities of supported individuals.

The Board Treasurer is an integral role that provides financial oversight by reviewing and presenting budgets and financial statements, preparing financial summaries, assessing financial risks and supports the society in keeping sight of its financial forecasting.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in accounting who is interested in joining a Board of Directors for the first time! We are always looking to improve and possibly expand our services so are seeking individuals committed to learning, collaboration, and action.

The board meets virtually 6 times a year and in task forces and committee meetings as needed. Board members contribute 4-6hrs a month to board activities.
