We are excited to announce that the 2021 Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival is coming back soon — and we need your help!

The Festival’s programming this year will take place from September 18-26, with the live event, including dragon boat races, occurring during Championship Weekend on Saturday, September 25.

We are now accepting applications for Volunteer Team Leads for Championship Weekend during the 2021 Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival.

Our Volunteer Team Leads are a vital part of the Festival, and we would not be able to produce our event without the dedication and commitment of them and the rest of our volunteer team. We look forward to working with you!

Festival Dates: September 18-26, 2021

Championship Weekend: September 25, 2021

Applications are accepted based on:

The number of volunteer positions available;
Scheduling availability; and
Applicable skills, knowledge and experience.

Commitment

Volunteer Team Leads should expect to work 4 hours a week until Championship Weekend. They must be available for at least one 4-hour evening shift on Friday, September 24 and one 8-hour shift during Championship Weekend on Saturday, September 25. 

Food and beverages will be provided during volunteer shifts. 

Volunteer Team Leads will also be required to attend volunteer information sessions on Wednesday, September 1 at 7 PM and Wednesday, September 14 at 7 PM.
