We require energetic, committed individuals to help in the front of house: ushering, taking tickets, greeting, and staffing the coffee bar and bar.

You’re in the right place.Results Canada is now accepting applications for its Education and Advocacy Fellowship Program, a 5-month hands-on opportunity to build your leadership, communication, and advocacy skills while generating the political will to end extreme poverty.Open to individuals aged 18 and above across Canada, Fellows engage virtually with peers to deepen their understanding of global health and poverty in low- and middle-income countries, write letters to the editor, raise awareness on social media, and engage with federal decision-makers. Backed by the in-depth research and legislative expertise of Results Canada staff and partners, Results Fellows will realize the incredible power they possess to use their voices.Apply by 11:59 PM (EST) on June 18 for the Summer/Fall cohort! Through fun activity-based play, volunteers provide youth with the knowledge to make informed decisions about a range of healthy lifestyle practices.Groups meet once weekly for 90 minute sessions during weekday afternoons at schools/community centres and engage in life skills, communication, and social-emotional discussions to encourage healthy life- long habits. Our Mentoring with Math Program is designed to strengthen the impact of tutoring by adding in the element of mentorship.You’ll meet once-a-week for 90 minute sessions during afternoons over a 10 week period, and work on numeracy, activities, and games. No previous experience with math is necessary for volunteers and all training is provided by Big Brothers. This program is offered virtually and in-person.Our Math Mentors areAdults aged 18+, inclusive of male, female, trans, and gender diverse individuals.Reliable, consistent, dedicated and respectful of others.Available to meet once weekly during weekday afternoons between 4:00pm and 5:30pm for 90-minutes for in-person sessions, or 60 minutes for virtual sessions.Our Mentoring with Math volunteers are asked to enroll in two 8-10 week terms as it's the best way to experience this fun program.Our Math Mentees areChildren in grades 3 to 7 who demonstrate a need for assistance in math at their grade level.From families who are not otherwise able to financially pursue academic support outside of school.LocationsVirtual program is offered Monday-Thursday between 4pm to 5pm.In-Person program is at a Surrey library on Tuesdays between 4pm to 5:30pm.BenefitsOpportunities for free tickets or admission vouchers to Big Brothers matches.Make a positive impact on the community.Gain a sense of personal fulfillment by contributing to a child’s self-esteem.Stress relief and develop a more positive attitude.Greater productivity at work or school.Make a new friend!Questions?
