The Aboriginal Front Door Society is a culturally safe, peer-designed non-judgmental place for Aboriginal Peoples and their friends and family in the Downtown East Side.

We Create hope and offer support through Aboriginal cultural traditions, caring, and acceptance.

We are a meeting place and a drop-in centre with a welcoming environment, providing opportunities to learn more about Aboriginal Peoples and Culture. When necessary, we can also offer other services, such as serving as a crisis centre, brokering long-term and specialty trauma counseling, and doing court accompaniments.

Our goal is to restore respect, dignity, and pride to our members.

Canada Society to Access Justice and Pro Bono Law of BC in 2010. Access Pro Bono is a non-profit organization that provides efficient and seamless pro bono legal services to the ever-increasing and otherwise unmet legal needs of BC’s people and non-profit organizations of limited means.

Access Pro Bono’s mission is to promote access to justice in BC by providing and fostering quality pro bono legal services for people and non-profit organizations of limited means.

Here at AEA, we advocate for open and accessible education by promoting awareness and raising funds for educational resources and institutions in underdeveloped areas of the world.

In addition to providing education, we also want to promote and encourage youth leadership.

AFABC supports the adoption community at all ages and stages through education, counselling, family events, and advocacy.

Conscious connection to Mother Nature through kayaking and safety for all age ranges, including the elderly and disadvantaged.

Since our inception in 1998, AgeCare has been dedicated to creating vibrant communities that celebrate and support aging with dignity, independence and community interaction. We offer our residents a safe and secure home-like atmosphere where they and their families can be assured peace of mind.

Our communities are special places that include warm and welcoming facilities, professional and specialized care, friendly and courteous staff, and truly enjoyable dining experiences. Our goal is always to foster a community atmosphere where individuals are recognized, valued and celebrated for themselves.

Albahaca Footwear is a not-for-profit footwear company founded in Vancouver in December 2016. All proceeds from sales, after costs, are given to a rotation of Guatemalan charities. Our boots are handmade, quality leather ankle boots - made with love by our small team of craftsmen in Pastores, Guatemala.

Our vision

Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and that world begins with a more dementia-friendly society, where people affected by dementia are acknowledged, supported and included.

Our mission
We ensure people affected by dementia are not alone, by educating and mobilizing a broader community of care around them, and supporting valuable research into the disease and people living with it.

The Amelia Douglas Institute (ADI) celebrates and uplifts Métis culture in British Columbia through educational exhibitions, programs, and research. The Institute connects Métis people throughout the province with their culture, heritage, and Michif languages through virtual and in-person resources and initiatives and educates the public about Métis people and culture.

The ADI is a registered charitable organization that was developed by Métis Nation of British Columbia’s Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language in 2023. Ministry staff are currently overseeing the Institute's program delivery and operations until the Institute is further established and has sustainable funding to maintain operations independently.

The ASAP lab conducts clinical and community-based research to estimate the frequency of anxiety and stress-related disorders in ASD with greater precision and identify risk factors. Additionally, we aim to improve clinical practices by providing guidelines and measures for determining when someone with ASD is experiencing anxiety or trauma and by effectively treating these conditions in community settings.

Apathy is Boring is a national non-partisan, youth-led organization that supports youth to become change-makers in their everyday lives and communities.

Aquafit for All Association is a non-profit organization in Vancouver. Our mission is to develop and provide affordable aquatic/aquatic exercise opportunities for individuals with disabilities and/or injuries of all ages.
