InspireHealth is a not-for-profit Health care organization, founded in 1997 by two medical doctors focused. InspireHealth provides supportive cancer care for individuals living with cancer and their families. All of our services are completely free and are accessible to all Canadians affected across the country (both patients and their supports). This includes on-going consultations with exercise therapists, nutritionists, medical doctors and clinical counsellors. As well as an abundance of classes, including yoga, meditation, acupuncture, cooking, art therapy, support groups and more!
InspireHealth Supportive Cancer Care Centre is a non-profit with centres in Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna BC. We provide free programs and services for anyone with a cancer diagnosis and their support friends and family. Our Clinical Services are provided by a team of physicians, nutritionists, clinical counsellors and exercise therapists. We have experience providing guidance on healthful diet changes, stress reduction and emotional counseling, decision making, exercise, and personal coaching.
International China Concern (ICC), a Christian non-profit organization, was founded in 1993 by David Gotts after seeing firsthand the suffering of Chinese children with disabilities who had been abandoned and left without hope in desperate conditions.
In the beginning, ICC sent short-term teams into China to provide care in government welfare centres. Later, we established permanent locations which provide full-time family-style care for children in Changsha and Hengyang in Hunan Province.

International Youth Fellowship (IYF) is a Christian-based global youth initiative of International Youth Fellowship Educational Foundation (IYFEF), a non-profit organization in the state of California. IYF is dedicated to the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth of young people around the world.

Italian Day on The Drive is a vibrant cultural street festival celebrating Italian culture, heritage and respective immigrant contributions in Vancouver. Commercial Drive, also known as <b>The Drive</b>, is home to the annual festival which transforms the street into a lively 14 block, vehicle free, celebration and community <b><i>festa</i></b>. Since Italian Day’s return in 2010, the event has grown significantly. Today, Italian Day on The Drive represents the largest one day cultural street festival in the city – and perhaps in Canada – drawing over 350,000 enthusiastic attendees of all cultures and ages. It is a multi-cultural and community embrace under the Italian Day umbrella offering over 200 street participants comprised of: sponsors, merchants, retail booths, food vendors and restaurant patios, as well as stages with live music and theatre, street performers, classic cars, activities and displays, children’s amusement zones and more.
Italian Day on The Drive is a vibrant cultural street festival celebrating Italian culture, heritage and community with over 150 street participants, comprised of partners, merchants, vendors and community organizations – and an estimated 300,000+ attendees of all ages and cultures. Commercial Drive (The Drive), home to Little Italy, is the designated location for the annual festival where the street is transformed into a lively 14 block festa. Since Italian Day’s return in 2010, the event today represents the largest one day cultural street festival in Vancouver – and perhaps in Canada. A festive community embrace, The Drive comes alive in green, white and red with piazza style animated zones, live music, food, patios, fashion, retail vendors, vehicles, activities, children’s zones and more.

James Thompson Elementary School has approximately 250 students. Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a committee made up of parents, who are committed to the education and well being of the children in our school. We work closely with the administration and staff to provide education enrichment opportunities for our students. Some of the duties of Thompson PAC is to fundraise and manage school projects that is not fully-funded by the Ministry of Education or the school district.
The mission of the JFAV is to showcase Japan and Japan-Canada communities to the Canadian community at large, in an effort to facilitate better understanding and relationships. The JFAV was formed with the goal of enhancing relationships and encouraging the continued success of the Canada-Japan business community and it was founded by six of the leading Japan-Canada business associations in British Columbia.
