Located in a heritage fire station built in 1906, the Firehall Arts Centre produces a season of eclectic theatre, dance and interdisciplinary performances and acts as a host to visual arts exhibitions in its intimate gallery/lounge. Each year the Centre hosts over two hundred performances bringing audiences into the heart of the city to enjoy artistic works, view art works in the gallery and sip a beverage on the enclosed courtyard.

The Great Climate Race is a brand new running series that raise awareness about climate solutions and crowdfunds for local solar projects. The inaugural race will take place on the Stanley Park seawall on October 30th, and will involve both a 10K and 2.5K course. It's a fun, family-friendly walk ​and run that's zero waste and solar-powered, with entertainment, costumes, healthy snacks, and more!

We work with young people to empower their local and global communities. We are connected to 52 non-profit partners, have HOPE branches in 12 high schools and 6 universities, and involve over 3000 youth in our network annually. We believe that youth can be doing much more as humanitarians, so we create spaces and systems that facilitate this.

The Improv Centre is Vancouver’s leading and best known improv theatre company. It was originally formed in 1981 under the name The Vancouver TheatreSports League. It was founded to promote, develop, maintain and present improvisational theatre productions and presentations to local and visiting audiences in Vancouver. The Improv Centre office and 186 seat theatre are located on Vancouver’s Granville Island. Each year, over 60,000 audience members, artists and students enjoy our theatre’s productions.

KidSafe is a Vancouver non-profit organization that provides a safe haven for vulnerable children during the times schools are out of session. We do this by running educational activities, assisting in social- emotional development and support, providing nutritious meals daily and organizing field trips for the children that may be otherwise be unattainable for many vulnerable families.

All of our children are referred to us by their teachers as one of the most economically and emotionally vulnerable students in their school, students who are the most t risk when school is closed. All the programs and activities are offered free of charge

The Labyrinth is found next door to St. Paul’s Anglican Church in the St Paul's Parish Hall complex (1140 Jervis Street) and is a full 13-metre replica of the medieval labyrinth laid in the stone floor of the 13th-century Cathédrale de Notre-Dame de Chartres, south of Paris, France. Our labyrinth was opened in 1996. For many, it is a way of centering themselves or of seeking insight during times of transition in their lives.

The labyrinth is a spiritual form that is open to people of all faiths and spiritual disciplines as a resource for meditation, reflection, and prayer. Unlike a maze, labyrinths have only one path that leads into the centre and back out again. Often we have slips of paper and pens to write down your thoughts, meditations or prayers. There are also chairs and cushions for still forms of meditation and centering.

The Learnary offers short, affordable classes in all sorts of interesting things you’ve always wondered how to do. We are also a resource for alternative education and maker materials, and a place to connect with others who like to learn and make together. We are dedicated to building community, supporting intergenerational learning and celebrating curiosity.

Companion Paws is dedicated to supporting Canadians in need through T.L.C.'s Companion Paws Therapy Dog Programs. TLC’s Companion Paws programs are available in all Provinces across Canada.
