Multicultural Helping House Society (MHHS) is a registered non-profit society and charitable organization dedicated to serving the needs of newcomers to Canada. In its 26-year history, MHHS has provided assistance to thousands of new immigrants in addressing their needs from settlement assistance, employment, social services, skills enhancement, respite & housing assistance, legal assistance, and education services.

Muscular Dystrophy Canada is a national, non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers and staff who continually work to provide support and resources to clients like you who are impacted by 1 of over 150 neuromuscular disorders.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of those affected with neuromuscular disorders by continually working to provide ongoing support and resources while relentlessly searching for a cure through well funded research

We are a group of music enthusiasts and music lovers who have come together to help raise awareness of the healing powers of music. Music Heals Charitable Foundation supports a wide range of music therapy services to communities in BC and across Canada. We increase access to music therapy for patients in children's hospitals, senior's centres, palliative care, AIDS & HIV programs, at-risk youth, habilitation, and bereavement support.

Music Heals is a not-for-profit society incorporated in British Columbia and is registered with Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable foundation.

Our mission is to connect with and inspire seniors through the power of live music. This helps strengthen their sense of belonging in the communities where they live.

We are serving senior homes, long-term care, and assisted living facilities across Metro Vancouver area.

Music Outreach Society is a youth non-profit organization that organizes high school student to perform in music concerts in seniors home, hospitals, shelters and other places in their community to give back to their communities with their talents for music. On a completely volunteer basis, young musicians are given the chance to share their passion for music in their community at a number of seniors’ homes including Louis Brier Home and Hospital, Southview Terrace, BC Children’s hospital – Sunny Hill and the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre. Performances range from pianists, singing & guitar. We do both performance and interactive singalongs.
Our Goals
To bring the community together through the act of sharing music with others. As we all know, music is a language that everybody understands! MOS is also a place for musicians to network with each other and to build long lasting connections as well as friendships.
To raise money to help support music therapy and children who are unable to afford instruments/lessons.
To provide MOS performers and members with performing opportunities as well as the chance to build up confidence in their music performance.

We are women social entrepreneurs through the marketing of our skill-based feminist counseling training program since the 1990s and with the opening of the My Sister’s Closet Eco-thrift boutique in 2001. We have grown to fully realize our potential as successful social businesswomen.

As advocates of zero waste, eco-fashion and the thrift movement, we enable women, men and children to access beautiful new and second-hand clothing. Revenue generated from the sales of clothing help fund violence prevention and intervention services operated by Battered Women’s Support Services which support over 11,000 women every year

The Nanny Angel Network is a registered charity and the only organization of its kind in Canada. We have been providing free, specialized childcare support and programs to families living with cancer since 2009.

Three main goals that drive everything we do:

<li>Provide specialized, Child Life-informed childcare support and programs for parents with cancer to give them the time they need to take care of themselves and reduce existing social support burn-out.</li>
<li>Build resiliency in children by teaching life-long coping skills.</li>
<li>Provide a sense of normalcy for children during a tumultuous time in their lives.</li>

Backed by 30 years of nanny agency experience, NAN has continued to successfully provide free resources for cancer patients and their families for over a decade.

We support families at any point during the cancer journey. We’re there from the time of diagnosis, during treatment or through palliative care. We continue to support families who need help for up to a year during the bereavement period.

We envision an active, relevant and supportive network that empowers youth across Canada to become responsible and driven leaders who are at the forefront of making a social difference.

The NSN strives to fulfill its vision by fostering social engagement and personal growth of youth. Our approach is multifaceted and includes the following:

- To offer a comprehensive database of scholarships, volunteering and leadership work, and opportunities in the sciences, humanities, and business.
- To empower youth through mentorship unique to their individual interests and needs
- To provide an interactive and supportive community for youth to share thoughts, offer advice and engage in discussions.

The Nature Trust of British Columbia is dedicated to conserving BC’s biological diversity through securement and management of ecologically significant lands.

TNTBC took on the daunting task of protecting the natural riches of the province by building a treasury of wild natural areas to conserve iconic and important species at risk.

TNTBC is now a leading non-profit land conservation organization. Since 1971 we have acquired more than 500 conservation properties in British Columbia.

Founded in 1918, Nature Vancouver (formally known as Vancouver Natural History Society), offers a variety of activities with a focus on nature education, and enjoyment and conservation of natural environment. We have been a registered charity since 1974.

Members of Nature Vancouver contribute to <a href="https://naturevancouver.ca/what-is-citizen-science/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>CITIZEN SCIENCE</strong></a> through e-Bird and iNaturalist.

We are an emerging collective of diverse trainers, facilitators, and practitioners committed to supporting collaboration and inclusion in organizations and communities working for racial and climate justice.

We do this by building skills, practices and systems that subvert structures and habits of dominance, right/wrong thinking, shaming and blaming, and reward and punishment.

We offer training, coaching and consulting services that allow organizations to attend to impact and harm as it arises, building trust and connection. When there is a foundation of trust and connection, challenges and conflicts become sources of inspiration, creativity, learning and growth.
